All you need to know

The Bi+ Equal Conference is taking place in Vilnius, Lithuania, from the 20th to 22nd of October 2025. This three-day event will feature panels, workshops, community-building activities, and the Founding General Meeting of the European bi+ umbrella entity. It’s an exciting opportunity to come together with bi+ activists from across Europe, share knowledge, and contribute to shaping the future of the pan-European bi+ movement.

For all information and supporting documents for the Founding General Meeting please visit our page “Shaping the Future”The Bi+ Equal Conference in short:

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania
Dates: October 20th until 22nd, 2025
Type: Hybrid event
Participants: 50 in-person participants from pan-European countries, plus up to 50
online participants.

Hybrid event
The Bi+ Equal Conference is a hybrid event. 50 participants will be able to attend in person in Vilnius. Online participation will be available for certain panels, workshops, and the Founding General Meeting. The exact venue location will be shared with in person participants in September.

Program
The conference will begin on the morning of Monday, 20 October, and close on Wednesday, 22 October at 3:00 PM.
To people attending in person, it is recommended to arrive in Vilnius on Sunday, 19 October.

The call for workshops and sessions was open from August 6th 2025 for confirmed and registered in-person participants. Workshop/session slots being limited, during reviewing the proposals, we aimed to create a diverse and balanced program that reflects the richness of our communities.
The final program will be shared with registered participants two weeks before the conference.

Please note that the conference language will be English. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide live translation due to limited resources.

The registration for in person participation is no longer available.
There was an overwhelming number of responses to the Letter of Interest during the registration phase. In order to ensure diverse representation from as many countries as possible, we selected one participant per organisation or country. Some applicants have been informed that they are on a waiting list. As soon as a spot become available, we got in touch with them.
Fortunately, it is still possible to register for online participation. You can register here.

The in-person attendees represent 25 different countries and the online participants add representation from 3 more countries outside of Europe.

To make the conference accessible to bi+ people and bi+ groups with limited or no access to funding, we’ve made scholarships available. In total, 20 participants received a full or partial scholarship.

Online participation will be available for certain panels, workshops, and the Founding General Meeting workshops and event. Information about Hybrid sessions are available since October 1st 2025.

Conference costs & scholarship opportunities

For in-person participants, the costs for attending are as follows:

Event participation without accommodation: €250
Event participation with accommodation in a shared room: €410
Event participation with accommodation in a single room: €540

The participation fee includes lunch and dinner during the Conference.
Accommodation is offered in the conference hotel and includes four nights and breakfast.
It was possible to apply for a partial or full scholarship to cover travel, accommodation, and event costs. While our budget is limited, we aim to enable as many people as possible —from as many pan-European countries as possible— to attend the Bi+ Equal Conference and Founding General Meeting in-person.

Please note that participants who received a scholarship will be sharing rooms.
It is possible to share preferences on who you share the hotel room with.

We encouraged everyone to seek financial support from their organisation or other sources, and let us know if we can support them in that process.
This enabled participation of those with no resources possible.
